It??s an interesting story about how the Collier de chien design came to be. It started in the early 20th century when the Hermes luxury goods company designed a dog collar for one of their clients. It was designed with a central ring for the dog??s leash and pyramid-shaped studs. This custom-made piece led to more orders from dog owners. A few years later, at the request of costume designer Marie Gerber, the collar??s belt was also designed. Gradually, cuff bracelets were designed and created, and various versions appeared for all women to wear. This version here is made of 18K rose gold and it has the signature studded detail and a central ring that moves freely. As an added luxury, there are 999 round brilliant cut diamonds adorning the iconic pyramid studs and ring, weighing a total of approximately 4.40 carats. Long hours of precise finishing have created this marvel, and needless to say, it deserves to be worn on the wrist of an art cult like you.
